  • Matthew received a B.S. degree (with honors) in 2004 from Michigan Technological University (MTU). The focus of his work at MTU was the power electronics of a satellite for the Air Force Research Lab's Nanosat II competition. He was an intern at Visteon Corporation in 2001.  Following his graduation at MTU, he worked on implantable devices at Guidant Corporation from 2004-2006. He received his M.S. degree (with honors) in 2009 from Helsinki University of Technology (HUT). He is currently working toward the D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering at the Electronic Circuit Design Group in Aalto University. He is a member of the Graduate School in Electronics, Telecommunications and Automation (GETA). His work at Aalto University has also included a number of teaching assistant positions. His research is focused on DC-DC regulation of low power microprocessors.  His interests also include analog design in scaled technologies and energy harvesting applications.
