I am a teacher and researcher. My pedagogy builds on flexible combination of tradition and innovation, such as web 2.0 tools (e.g.wikis), social networking (e.g. Facebook) and open educational freeware (e.g. Booki). One might say I am someone who protects academic tradition but seeks effective new ways to enhance learning. My ultimate goal is to find the correct balance of formal and informal, traditional and innovative, to contribute to a better understanding of how new technological developments can be optimized for the benefit of the future society of learners.
